NuTyX is extremely responsive and fast, much faster than Antix and PeppermintOS.
NuTyX is goody from France!
But NuTyX is not better than Antix and PeppermintOS, because Unicode characters in Firefox are not good at all.

Hi,
I solved the problem launching a bootable Peppermint 10 respin usb and installing boot repair.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y boot-repair && boot-repair
hier full instructions:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair
I launched the boot repair and fixed the boot on my 16Gb target usb. I am enjoying now my new peppermint 10 proper install on it. I still do not understand what went wrong before. The usb target was partitioned according to the above attached table, which seemed to be ok. I repeat: I am working on a acer travelmate win 10 Uefi in Legacy mode and target usb had the usual gpt partition (fat32 500 Mb, esp, boot; ext 4 (/). If anyone has a hint, please let me know. Anyway, It works after the fix and I can only recommend both, Peppermint 10 and boot repair. Thank you very much

Well, Arch is not good for low-resource computers at all.
PeppermintOS (based on Ubuntu-LTS) is very good, fast, responsive on low hardware specs. Antix (based on Mepis, Debian without systemd) is even faster.
For instance, Arch xfce Idle RAM usage is 500 mb, while Firefox+YouTube consumes over 2GB RAM.
PeppemintOS10 Idle RAM usage is 300mb, while Firefox+YouTube consumes only 800mb RAM.
Antix Idle RAM usage is 200mb, while Firefox+YouTube consumes about 1GB RAM.
Porteus xfce (based on Slackware) Idle RAM usage is 545mb, while Firefox+YouTube consumes over 1,1GB.
Slackware is very comparable to Arch RAM consumptions.
Fedora consumes even more RAM than any of the above.
You can start HTOP application and you can see for yourself.
