The best way is using of Live Linux like Slax or Puppy Linux, without installing it on HDD.
Just change your boot sequence in BIOS or UEFI (press Del, F2, F8, F9, F12 or Esc while booting) select boot order from CD or USB, insert your CD or stick your USB with live linux, and enjoy.
Legend: Acer (Esc, F12, F9), Apple (Option), Asus (F8, Esc).
All changes you can save on USB or even HDD where Windows is.
Puppy linux can burn changes as multi sessions tracks on same CD or additional files on USB stick.
Live Linux can work only in RAM memory without touching of your HDD.
